Dr. Cody D. Mead is currently the Medical Director of VIP Total Health and Hydration. He is also a fellow in the Wild Health Precision Medicine Program where physicians take an individual approach to medicine using DNA and comprehensive lab analysis.
During his 11 years of Active-Duty Army service, Dr. Mead served as a Chief Medical Officer Raymond W. Bliss Army Health Center located in Fort Huachuca, Arizona, and a Medical Director and Flight Surgeon for the Stuttgart Army Health Clinic in Stuttgart, Germany. He deployed to Afghanistan in 2013 while assigned as the Brigade Surgeon for the 1st Cavalry Division and received the Bronze Star Medal for his service.
Dr. Mead is board-certified through the American Board of Family Medicine and holds “fellow” status in the American Academy of Family Physicians. He has been practicing medicine for over twelve years and holds active and unrestricted medical licenses in the states of Nebraska and Texas. In 2015, Dr. Mead was selected as the Army’s only Family Medicine physician to attend Iron Major Week, a distinguished honor in military medicine.
Dr. Mead received a Bachelor of Science degree from South Dakota State University in Brookings, South Dakota. He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, Missouri and complete residency at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center at Fort Hood, Texas.
